Jeffrey Kiplinger is President and founder of Averica. Dr. Kiplinger has over 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive knowledge of drug discovery, particularly supporting discovery and optimization of small molecule therapeutics. From 2001 through 2007, Dr. Kiplinger consulted with a variety of pharmaceutical and discovery technology companies on the optimization of drug discovery process. Previously, he founded the Gilson Center for Integrated Discovery Technology (CIDT) as a partnership development center responsible for high-speed chemistry and analysis products. From 1988 to 1998 at Pfizer, he supported discovery chemistry activities by developing new applications for mass spectrometry and chromatography, in particular Open Access HPLC/MS and mass spectrometry-directed preparative chromatography.
Dr. Kiplinger holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Indiana University, and carried out postdoctoral research at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences and at Ohio State University.
Paul Lefebvre is Director of Laboratory Operations at Averica. From 1998-2007, he was responsible for applications development and marketing at Gilson and later at Waters Corporation, where he developed integration strategies for chromatography and mass spectrometry systems, including supercritical fluid chromatography systems. Prior to joining Gilson, he supported ArQule’s chemistry technology and drug discovery efforts and was a staff scientist at the USFDA.
Paul Lefebvre holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts. |
